Empire Energy (USA) LLC (100% owned subsidiary of Empire Energy Group Limited) was established as the parent vehicle for Empire Energy E&P, LLC an oil and gas exploration and production (E&P) Company based in Pennsylvania. The focus of our USA business is the production of oil and gas from our assets in New York State and Pennsylvania which cover >270,000 net acres (see map below) and are wholly “held by production”.
A specific focus is on stable, long life producing assets with upside potential from either underdeveloped multi-level oil and gas bearing formations, enhanced oil recovery projects, development drilling and exploration opportunities.
The acreage is operated by our US operations team located in Mayville, New York with high net revenue interest in each well. We also own the underlying shale rights (Marcellus and Utica) in New York State.
Empire produces ~4,500mcf/d of gas with a small amount of associated liquids (~10bopd) from ~2,400 conventional wells. Decline rates are very modest at ~2% p.a.
